probably the inf mana is abit ptless since u have no hand. But any ping effect works. Another 3 card combo to watch for.

i was thinking about emerakul just because it makes the game un-fun for at least 1 person. People pack bribery in their decks and sol ring into bribery turn 3 is just silly. Also, he made me put mind break trap and trick bind back into my deck.

its kinda like lotus cobra, if it lives for 1 turn its awesome. But then you wonder if its in the same power level as lotus cobra, since with cobra you can go fetch , tap mana elf, crack fetch and play lost alara, baneslayer etc and the cobra is still untapped. sometimes you get value out of your cobra even if they kill it on their turn. For example, you play him on turn 3 the drop a fetch, you basically got your mana back. But cobra is a bad top deck. Then again, so is shaman. With shaman, you just can't do super broken stuff like turn 3 kill. Best case you get a vengevine in, which surely is card advantage but just dont seem the same power level as some of the other 2 drops they have printed.

it made bligtning, cruel ultimatium (although not by alot), and sedrixis specter worse. But that really depends on how much the new 4/4 gain 4 life guy sees play.

Sorry it took a week to answer this but its mainly because all the EDH players are GAY! (Just kidding :P :P)
But yea, edh is still very big on friday nights. Usually those of use who does not want to draft just play edh in pulsar max. Most of the times there are 5-8 of us, and we play there till about 10.
After pulsar closes, we usually get some food and luckily for us, there is one of us who is an account whose work place is very close to pulsar. He opens up the massive meeting room so we can play some edh.
Usually its a free for all. We play 2v2 from time to time, Or even emperor, we leave there at 2-3 in the morning. Usually nothing on sat/sun.
We all just play with what ever general, no one bothers to reserve.
The banlist is on, to make sure there is no turn 4 gifts ungiven turn 5 combo.
